Let’s be honest. Feeling Sh!tty feels sh!tty. Am I right? So because of that, we go out of our way so that we do not have to feel it. At all. Ever.
In fact we go to great lengths to avoid it. Binge eating, drinking, binging Netflix, obsessive organizing. Pick your poison. We all have one. Or ten.
The problem is, it doesn’t get rid of the problem. Avoiding feeling negative emotion only serves to perpetuate it.
